Agata Tekla

(1993 Radom, Poland). Agata is a multidisciplinary polish artist residing in Canary Islands, Spain. Her education as Engineer of Wood Technology and Postgraduate in Interior Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, has led her to develop her skills in sculpture techniques through the years. For the past few years, she has been assisting and creating artworks for various contemporary artists, which awakened her instinct to create her own pieces. In the meantime she has created several artworks in different disciplines such as photography, painting and sculpture.

In 2023 she was awarded with the First Prize at the Mesa y López Photography Contest, which was her first official recognition as an artist. A year later, she began creating sculptures in resin and mixed media, planning her first solo show late in 2026. Her sculptures portray female figures as allegories of certain human traits. Through the interplay of airy, fluid forms and the sharpness of each piece’s message, the artist emphasizes female empowerment and sparks a dialogue on equality in contemporary society.
